TORONTO, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - The Radio Television News Directors Foundation of Canada is pleased to announce the addition of a new national scholarship.
The former Atlantic Association of Broadcasters have generously sponsored an annual $2,000.00 scholarship. The Broadcasters of Atlantic Canada scholarship is offered to a student from Atlantic Canada pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism in Canada.
RTNDF President, Robert Collins says "the endowment will provide financial support for Journalism students from Atlantic Canada for many years to come".
RTNDF awards annually eight national scholarships to Journalism students. To date, RTNDF scholarships total over $263,000.00 for deserving Journalism students.
