RTDNA Canada announces Atlantic Regional Award Recipients

TORONTO, March 21, 2012 /CNW/ - RTDNA Canada, The Association of Electronic Journalists, is pleased to recognize excellence in electronic journalism in the Atlantic Region when it presents its annual awards in Dartmouth, NS on April 14, 2012.

The RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in both radio and television. "Many of these awards are named after the people who founded our association back in 1962." said RTDNA Canada President Andy LeBlanc. "It is now our 50th anniversary year, and these innovators and pioneers in the Canadian news profession would be proud to see the quality of electronic journalism that continues today. Congratulations to all the winners. I look forward to meeting you at the Atlantic Region Conference next month."
