TORONTO, May 11 /CNW/ - RTNDA Canada, The Association of Electronic Journalists, is pleased to recognize excellence in electronic journalism in the Atlantic Region when it presents its Atlantic Regional Awards in Halifax, NS on June 23, 2011.
The RTNDA Canada Awards are given to honour the best programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in both radio and television. "Congratulations to all award recipients," said Andy LeBlanc, RTNDA Canada President. "The quality of these awards submissions in a record year for entries, is a clear indication that electronic journalism and local news is alive and well in Canada. It is always an honour to return to the newsroom with awards named after the pioneers of Canadian broadcast journalism."
