TORONTO, April 6 /CNW/ - RTNDA Canada, The Association of Electronic Journalists, is pleased to recognize excellence in electronic journalism in the Central Region when it presents its annual awards in Waterloo, ON, on May 7, 2011.
The RTNDA Canada Awards are given to honour the best programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in both radio and television. "Each of these awards are named after pioneers and innovators in the Canadian news business. They would be pleased to see the quality electronic journalism in local news coverage today," said RTNDA President Andy LeBlanc. "Join me in congratulating all entrants, and especially those who will be walking up to the podium next month to receive RTNDA Canada awards."
