2009 RTNDA Canada Lifetime Achievement Award Winner

TORONTO, Feb. 24 /CNW/ - RTNDA Canada - The Association of Electronic
Journalists is pleased to announce that Wayne Clark will be honoured with the
2009 RTNDA Lifetime Achievement Award in the Atlantic Region. The award will
be presented at the RTNDA Atlantic Regional Awards Banquet in Moncton, NB on
May 23, 2009.

Wayne Clark is an award-winning cameraman. His introduction to journalism
came in the mid 1960's when he was hired to work in the photo lab at the
Chronicle-Herald newspaper in Halifax. By August 1966, Wayne was shooting news
for ATV in Halifax. He brought his "A-game" to work every day regardless of
whether he was working with a veteran or a rookie reporter. His calm attitude,
keen insight, work ethic and guidance have helped those around him.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 2002 to recognize
individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service and
continued excellence during the course of their career in broadcast
journalism.

journalists to promote and to protect the freedom to report independently
about matters of public interest and to present a wide range of expressions,
